My Own Art Review

One of the biggest benefits of today’s technology is the ability to preserve memories in so many ways. I don’t have many pictures of myself at a young age because it was expensive to develop photos so my parents made sure each photo counted. I have the luxury of being able to take as many pictures of my kids as I want to without breaking the bank.

Now I can even take it a step further and have some amazing effects added to my photos to really make them special. My Own Art provides a photo editing service that takes a regular photo or two and makes a really neat keepsake out of them. It’s modern art that is personalized.

This photo of my kids is actually one that I took with my cell phone. Five years ago the camera on my phone could not have taken a picture of this quality. I may be a little prejudiced, but I think I have two of the cutest kids around. Taking a picture of them and making is snazzy is just common sense. I love how taking away the background and adding a little color around the photo subjects draws attention the their faces, and especially their eyes.

The effect I had done with my photo was watercolour in green and yellow, but there are so many effects to choose from. I wanted them all, and I will have to have more made eventually. Putting these photos on canvas would make such beautiful decor.

The creativity behind My Own Art is Elin, an Australian mom who worked as an architect and illustrator for several years. She finally decided to pursue her dream, and now she makes beautiful custom art. You can connect with Elin through her website, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
